Dr Tony O'Sullivan Dr Tony O’Sullivan is an economist with an extensive background in strategic planning, public policy analysis and housing research. Prior to co-founding Newhaven Research, Tony served as Head of the Planning Department and Chief Economist in Communities Scotland and its predecessor organisation Scottish Homes. Tony was responsible for developing and implementing Scottish Homes strategic planning and strategic investment frameworks and for the delivery of the Scottish House Condition Survey. Tony has extensive experience in researching and analysing housing and area regeneration topics and undertaking policy analysis gained in the public and university sectors over the last 25 years. Gillian Young Gillian Young also worked for Communities Scotland and Scottish Homes, where immediately prior to co-founding Newhaven Research, she was Head of the Business Intelligence Unit. With more than 16 years in housing planning, research and information, Gillian has wide-ranging understanding and expertise in the development and delivery of datasets, information tools and analytical procedures to assist policy analysis and strategic decision-making. Gillian has also taken a lead role in the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including the recent proposals for streamling the SIP monitoring indicators. |
